Robotics Camps, Summer 2007

Summer Day Camps were held in June to allow students to "Build A Robot". Students ages 12+ were invited to participate in the area’s first-ever day-camp for robotics, held at Ivy Tech and Maring-Hunt Library. Students learned about robotics, mechanical technology, physics and problem-solving. Students used of Lego Mindstorms robot kits and programmed them to accomplish several tasks. PhyXTGears students assisted with the lesson, helping with programming, demonstrating the FRC robots, and helping camp attendees to drive and operate the big robots. Fun was had by all.
